10.06.2010
Logitech's new range of webcams with full HD 1,080p video recording come with one-click HD-uploading to Facebook and YouTube.
The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 captures full HD in 1,080p and allows for HD 720p video chat, plus has stereo audio - one mic on either side of the webcam.
The C510 webcam is also high-def, but is designed for portable video calling and recording so it fits in your pocket and has 360-degree full-rotation for swivelling the webcam to include more people in your video call.
These webcams are complimented by Logitech software - Logitech Vid HD transmits two-way live video in HD and is included with all new Logitech webcams.
Aside from one-click uploading to Facebook and YouTube, the new webcams are also compatible with most video calling clients, including Skype, Windows Live Messenger, and Gmail Voice and Video Chat.
"HD video calling is a critical step toward our vision of a world in which video communication is as mainstream and seamless as a telephone call - for anyone, anywhere," said Eric Kintz, vice-president and general manager of Logitech's video business.
"With Logitech HD webcams and Vid HD, you have everything you need to share, to connect, to see the people that matter to you in breathtaking detail that far surpasses the quality of embedded webcams."
