Epson brings out world's fastest inkjet printer
10.06.2010
It's official: the world's fastest inkjet printer has been claimed by Epson with the BX625FWD when compared to other all-in-one inkjets in its class.
The BX625FWD is aimed at small businesses and does doubled-sided prints while tackling scanning, copying and shooting out 7.1 colour pages or 15 black and white ones per minute.
This little worker is pocket-friendly for the SOHO at €254 and prints and scans over high-speed Wi-Fi plus Ethernet, so it is ideal for multiple users.
The BX625FWD comes on the market in September 2010 and is part of a slew of new printers from Epson, including the BX525FWD, BX320FW and BX305F.
Yes, it's hard to make printing sexy when compared with smartphones and iPads, but let us think of the environment, folks: all of Epson's new printers are power-efficient Energy Star qualified and if that doesn't make you feel better, then rest well knowing that the DuraBrite ink used is both fast-drying and water, smudge and fade resistant to give laser-like prints.
